Delighting In......

So much.
Though this has been a turbulent week in terms of emotions...
I have much more to be thankful for than to not be thankful for.
So much more.

Delighting In......

....... This Season.
How awesome is Christmas?
How blessed are we that He loves us so much He sent Jesus?

........ My Two and how their creative juices have flowed into this past week.

Slightly miffed at our lack of Christmas decorations (come on! Who doesn't love a felt Christmas tree which spends most of it's life collapsed and flat on the coffee table!?) our kids decided to make their own Nativity Scene. And some plastic cup figurines. I feel quite sad at my lack lustre supply of craft material for them to choose from - however, this has to be a new for plastic cups and IKEA napkins.

I am quite in awe of their Lego Nativity Scene.

Master T: Jesus is SUCH a good name for a baby! I wonder how God came up with it!?

Three Wise Men.... working the Muscle Tee there man!

Mary... straight back into those jeans...

Joseph... a little overwhelmed by it all.

A new take on the gifts... a broom will be mighty handy.

These guys didn't quite make the cut.

........ A Wedding Anniversary.
14 years.
Wow.

........ This Book:

It's life empowering. In fact. I wanna give one away.
Make mention in a comment if you would like to have your own copy.
So much of what is in this book is me. Seriously. I nodded and agreed and ROARED and PROWLED.... this is gold.

........... This Album:

Love a bit of TobyMac spin on a Christmas Carol.
This one, is particularly "Boom chuck da boom boom da chuck"

..........#Hashtags.
#lovethem.
#eventhoughimnotontwitter
#eventhoughtheyarereallytryhardedwhenyourenotontwitter
#ilikemakingthemup.

........These Chocolate Eclairs.
Taking home these... (I may not share, to be honest)

and all of these:

.........Home this week.
Whoop.
Four suitcases. One full of clothes. Three full of gifts.
C.A.N.N.O.T.W.A.I.T
Sydney on Friday..... going shopping for jeans.
Jeans for island thighs.
Island thighs = 3 Asian thighs.
Turkey drumstick = 3 pigeon drumsticks.
It's pretty sad when your only good pair of jeans is a pair of skinny jeans.... and you're not a skinny jean suitable model.

Oh and shoes.
Shoes for tall girls.
One tall girl shoe = giant Asian man shoe.
I'm not joking.
